A moment to remember forever! JWW-10 under Per Iversen (Norway) - photocopyright Viyo Elite. Despite his young age Eddie has made a long way by now. He was my favourite among his five brothers but was sold anyway. I was lucky to get him back at six months, unfortunately in poor condition but luckily temperament and trust had remained lovely and he was so full of life and action. He was such a joy to have around and I was soon convinced he would make a wonderful all-round companion for many kind of activities. I'm happy that I was stubborn and didn't sell him just as a pet but waited for 'right' home, because now my special boy has the best home you could ever think of with Jenni-Mari and family. Eddie's story reminds me a lot about the story of Cinderella - a girl with golden heart and soul which led her from rags to riches and gave her the prince and everything... So has been the case with Eddie too. Dispite losing almost everything else he never lost his spirit and his superlative temperament. With hard work, time, effort and love from Jenni-Mari and Kirsi he got back his substance, muscles etc. and so he could be entered and taken with to a long trip to Denmark - a trip I had so many years waited. It was a World Show 2010 and a Spaniel Specialty on a following day. What a memorable trip it was with friends - we had rented a house together and had such a good time there! It was about being there and meeting many overseas-friends and of cource seeing all the quality dogs. It wasn't about our own results and we had no expectations at all - absolutely no! I was so looking forward showing this homebred youngster under gundog specialist Per Iversen but stil it was quite a shock to be handed the rosette of Junior World Winner from the quality entry of 18 junior males! After realizing what had happened it was such a wave of pure happiness filling every cell of my body - surely a day to remember forever from my early years of showing the homebreds! Eddie is a multi-purpose ESS at home training agility & obedience as well as tracking. So far he has been out for only a few starts at official tests, but I'm sure we will hear from this great team Jenni-Mari & Eddie in years to come! We feel that his new life has just begun and are extremely happy that this fairy tail has had happy ending so far :)
