Lydia was the only bitch pup in Pamela's long awaited litter by BISS Aust Ch Nobhill Walk On Top At Melverly. It was agreed already before the birth that if there was a nice bitch among the babies, she would go co-ownership with Laura who had been waiting a daughter of Pamela nearly two years. So both Laura and I were thrilled of happiness when there was this single princess in the litter of three puppies born!
Lydia reminded me so much of her confident self-important mother Pamela, and as the mom before also Lydia was the boss of the puppy gang... The future was to be included with a lot of hobbies - shows, agility, maybe tracking... we were so looking forward to it!!
But this was not the case. We lost her at just 8 months old after very aggressive and sudden myocitis. It was the most upsetting time for Laura and I, as it was not just Lydia who died - with her many beautiful dreams died. It feels so forced to write this as sometimes there are just not any words to discribe how you feel... Maybe the pictures below of Laura and I with our long-awaited baby girl tell more than any words ever could, just look the faces with all that pure happiness and excitement of all the time to come together with Lydia.
