I have been dreaming of American Cocker of my own for over 9 years, and hoped that someday I would have a glamorous black bitch to show... I have found myself often by the American ring, studied bloodlines and pedigrees and spent hours and hours trying to internalize the true type of the breed. American cocker is a true gundog and should have the struckture and functional anatomy for day's work and being able to carry the game. And yet at the same time they combine ultimate style and glamolur to the power of a gundog structure making an ultimate movement.
I think that a typey cocker in movement is something that literally takes your breath away. It is a feeling so hard to put on words - you go goosebumps, paralyzed just where you are... Some such excamples of great specimens that have given me this feeling just by being sooo true to type and made everlasting impression to me are Ch Afterglow Arrabella, Ch Caci's Cute Carmen At LD's and Ch Marvellous Sweet'n' Classy to name just three top quality bitches.
With these feelings in your head you just can't rest on your laurels can you?? I thought that when I'm gray and old I will regret if I have just settled admiring this lovely breed instead of breeding and showing them. Just having purchased my first American I feel I'm just starting paving my path within the breed, so I would like to thank you all who have helped me and quided me - you are all highly appreciated my Am cocker friends! xxx
So Aug 2012 I flew to the UK to collect my first puppy bitch - I will be forever grateful to you Michael and Jason for entrusting Pearl into our hands!
